Tuesday May 26, 2020
Tuesday May 26, 2020
On this episode I interviewed Jorden Radliff. Jorden is the Physiotherapist at Woodford Sports Science Consulting in Melbourne, Australia. Jorden works with athletes with multiple injuries, but has a special interest in ACL’s, which is our main focus for this podcast.
Some topics discussed were…
Who he recommends for operative vs nonoperative management.
Importance of prehab before surgery, if given the opportunity.
His approach to ACL rehab being heavily strength and conditioning based.
What conditioning he has his athletes do.
What his focuses are in different “stages” of ACL rehab and what tests he uses to progress athletes.
How he returns athletes to practice and to games.
How he keeps an athlete motivated through the process.
Plus much more. Really great and comprehensive ACL chat with Jorden.
