On this episode I interviewed Kaiti Jones who is a Senior Performance Coach at the University of Louisville. Kaiti has experience as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) and Strength and Conditioning/Performance Coach (CSCS).
The main focus of this episode was how the sports performance and sports medicine professions can best blend their experience and work together. Specifically this episode focuses on Athletic Trainers and Performance/Strength and Conditioning Coaches within the USA college system, but can have take always for other settings as well. This also touches on what reconditioning is and the importance of this process for the injured athlete.

How Athletic Trainers and Strength and Conditioning Coaches can learn from each other
How Kaiti defines reconditioning
How they do reconditioning at Louisville
You can always do something as an athlete
How to mesh the Athletic Training and Strength and Conditioning roles during reconditioning
How she develops a plan for the athlete to return to sport and performance
